The hotel sits in a converted warehouse that was originally built in 1907 with a neighborhood that is redeveloping via converted industrial spaces being converted into alternative uses. Walker's Point is located near downtown Milwaukee and while much remains industrial, a section has been converted to include the luxury hotel, craft breweries, a jazz club and other venues which support night life.
