WASHINGTON (April 18, 2017) Rear Adm. Takehisa Nakao, director general of the Logistics Department, Maritime Staff Office, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF), signs the JMSDF-USN Logistics Interoperability and Integration Framework Terms of Reference (ToR) after meeting with Vice Adm. Phil Cullom, deputy chief of naval operations for fleet readiness. The ToR establishes a strategic oversight and governance construct to support refinement initiatives to achieve logistics interoperability and integration goals between the Navy and the JMSDF.
