The country around the city of Domfront called "The Domfrontais". In the Middle Age the country was called "Le Passais", this name come from the latin "passus" which means : passage. "Le Passais" is the land of passage (A space on the edge of Normandy, Maine and Brittany). Scholars believe that "Le Passais"(The country's transition) provided the framework for the production of some texts about the Arthurian legend.
