He got Saxon types founded, and he projecteda dictionary of the Anglo-Saxon language. He was himself thelearned author of voluminous works on the early history of theChurch in Britain, and was especially the historian of his ownsee. At his death he bequeathed his own magnificent Ubrary tohis beloved college at ~ 0
