At length dichotomously di- vided: tubercles slenderly pyramidal; axils woolly and bristly: radial spines 20 or more, slender; centrals 2, 3, 4, rarely 5. brown-tipped, the upper ones 3—4 lines long, the lower 1% in. turned downward.
