Faughanvale Primary School has a long history within the Parish of Our Lady, Star of the Sea. Its original site was located on the nearby Dunlade Road from the late 1860s. However as the population in the area grew it relocated to its current site on the Vale Road, Greysteel. They have a rich history of over 150 years of educational provision in the Faughanvale area and recently celebrated their 50th Anniversary on our site.
