John De Groot, the well-known spe- cialist in gladioli and other bulbs, who has a farm at Catonsville devoted to the production of bulbs, is also inter- ested in the United Bulb Growers, Inc., of Holland, and is traveling representa- tive of the concern in this country. Mr. De Groot is most enthusiastic about this new corporation, the object of which is to sell Holland-grown bulbs direct from the grower to the consumer. In organization it is similar to the asso- ciation of raisin growers of the Pacific coast. K. Klyn is the managing di- rector of the corporation in this coun- try, with offices at 040 TJroadway, Now York. Both of these men were raised in the bulb industry in Holland and understand tlie business thoroughly. About forty bulb growing firms in Holland arc now members.
