Sailors attached to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency participate in a ceremony for the 247th Navy birthday at the DPAA Facility on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, Oct. 13, 2022. The ceremony was held to commemorate the Navy’s birthday honoring 247 years of rich history and defense of the nation. DPAA’s mission is to achieve the fullest possible accounting for missing and unaccounted-for personnel to their families and our nation.
