The difference in size between the largest and smallestegg is very remarkable, and I am inclined to think my smallest pair mustbe quite abnormal. The average is .87 by .65 in. ( = by mm.). The nest is said to be a tiny platform of thin twigs and bents, only aboutfour inches in diameter, and most flimsy in character, placed on low scrubbybushes.
