Army Reserve Brig. Gen. Justin M. Swanson, the deputy commanding general of 1st Theater Sustainment Command, presents his commander’s coin to Sgt. Robert Locke, who deployed to Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, with the Army Reserve’s Lancaster, Pennsylvania, based 1185th Deployment and Distribution Support Battalion, in recognition of Locke’s excellent performance during a tour of the port Aug. 2, 2021. Swanson is also the commanding general of the Indianapolis-based 310th Sustainment Command (Expeditionary), whose Soldiers staff 1st TSC’s operational command post at Camp Arifjan, Kuwait.
