A young couple rest on a bed in the San Juan Diego shelter before continuing their journey northward to the USA.

The San Juan Diego shelter for migrants in Tultitlán, State of Mexico, Mexico is under siege from neighbors complaining of crime, over-crowding and drug use. The sanctuary will probably be forced to close in the near future. The Catholic Church-run haven is one of a series of stop-off points for migrants during their journey north through Mexico to the United States by freight train. A young couple from El Salvador, Elias Molino, 24, and Wendi de los Angeles, 19, rest on a bed in the shelter before continuing their journey to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA.
