The long public life and eminent services of this noble-man have much endeared him to the people of William Frederick Vilhers, now fourth Earl ofClarendon, was born January 12, 1800. He is the eldestson of the late Hon. George Villiers, by Theresa, onlydaughter of the first Lord Boringdon. He succeeded tothe title on his uncles death in December, 1838.
