The conditionsare the most unsuitable possible. Thereis no ventilation; the wife as well as thehusband works, regardless of consequencesand dirt; food is cooked and eaten in thelead-laden atmosphere. In few cases canthe workers cleanse their hands and facesbefore taking their food.
