24 April 2000 Taking the plunge from newly restored Langham Bathing Machine Number 49 on Eastbourne seafront It was the the first time in 100 years that the once popular Victorian seafront changing room had been used It was discovered affer spending 90 years as an allotment shed and was painstakingly restored in its original Chrome Yellow and Vermillion Red paintwork
