The Force Recon Platoon attached to the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) conducted a live fire off an elevator deck on the USS Iwo Jima. Conducting these live fire exercises will keep the Marines proficient at their rifle and pistol abilities on this deployment.
