A cut-steel rapier,Milan,Daniele da Serravalle around 1560 Double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section and a short fuller on each side. Sturdy iron hilt cut in relief with bud-shaped finials. Original iron wire winding and Turk's heads. Pommel cut with arabesques. Blade stained and somewhat pitted. Lower part of the hilt heavily corroded. Length cm.
