A Dreyse needle-fire revolver, F. v. Dreyse in Sömmerda, circa 1870 Large model, Prussian inches ( mm) calibre, serial number 12636. Slightly rough, octagonal barrel. Cylinder for six shots. Manufacturer's inscription on the topstrap, on the right side of the frame calibre specification. The frame with tendril engraving and silver inlays at the firing needle. Walnut grip with lanyard loop. The metal surfaces stained and with fine pitting in some parts. The grip with traces of use.
