House of the Estates Helsinki Finland
Designed by architect Gustaf Nystrom and completed in 1890 the building served as an assembly hall for the three estates below the rank of nobility Since 1978 it has been used for meetings and official functions of the Prime Minister s Office and other offices of the central government It is also used by the Learned Societies The tympanum artwork was created by sculptor Emil Wikstrom
