Terracotta lekythos (oil flask) ca. 560–550 Attributed to the manner of Elbows Out Cock between two menElbows Out, the Affecter's colleague, derives his name from his distinctive stylistic idiosyncrasy. Cocks were popular gifts between men. Cockfighting, moreover, was an established pastime in the sixth century Athens.
