Dense sonorouswhite porcelain, coated with a mahogany-brown glaze sometimesdescribed as beefs-liver color, of lustrous surface and present-ing an appearance as of infinitely minute crystalline structure,the quality used to represent texture in the liver-colored stand. IIlight, 9 .4 inches, 770— BrLBors Vase (Kang-hsi) In the form of an inverted pear-shape vase and a globular bottle-shape vase, their bodies coalescing in a bulbous center, standingon a slightly spreading foot, with a slender bottle-neck. Covereduniformly with a chtir-de-lttne glaze of pearl-gray tone, over adecoration of scrolling foliations lightly etched in the paste. Height, 11% 771—Mottled Corai. Vase {Chien-lttng) Squat bottle-form, on short, slightlyspreading foot, with wide neck ex-panding in the upward with a glaze of rich, deepcoral hue and soft mottling, havinga dull luster, with metallic reflec-tions.
