Berlin, Gesundbrunnen, District Court Wedding on the Brunnenplatz square. Listed building built in neo-Gothic style 1901-1906. Architects Rudolf Mönnich & Paul Thoemer The ornate central portal has stepped gables, bay windows and pinnacles . The allegorical figure of Justitia stands over the bronze and copper-studded entrance doors holding a law book and a sign. Vandals destroyed the statue 1988 and the figure is a 2006 reconstruction by the sculptor Wiedemann. An imperial eagle with swastika in the oak wreath was placed in the gable in 1933 – this still exists but the swastika has been removed.
