Some of the 20,000 homes being built to accommodate 50,000 people, being constructed in Australia’s newest city, ‘Aura’ (City of Colour) on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia. This Aus $5 billion development on 200 hectares of land near Caloundra, will take 30 years to complete. ‘Aura’ is Australia’s largest master planned communities project on the Sunshine Coast. The Sunshine Coast is the fastest growing region in the whole of Australia Much development has taken place over the last few years along both the Sunshine and Gold Coasts. It has an effect on its local wildlife habitat and green spaces which are slowly eroding to accommodate Australia’s fast growing population.
