A model 1881 St. Anne's Shashqa, for bravery The blade is etched with Justitia and bears the etched and stamped maker's inscriptions, "Alex. Coppel, Solingen" and "Eisenhauer". Brass hilt showing vestiges of gilding, and the inscription "For Bravery", and the Cyrillic stamp, "Schaaf & Sons, St. Petersburg" along with the double-headed eagle. A golden St. Anne's Order inlaid on the pommel (enamel damaged). Dark wooden grip. Leather scabbard with brass mountings.
