Considered as a Solo Instnime/it, the Harpmay be used as successfully as the Violin orPiano, either with accompaniment of a fewstringed instruments, or of the entire the latter case the score must be arranged insuch a manner as to allow the Harp to appearto best advantage and not be crushed by themass of accompanying instruments. To forma correct idea of writing an effective solo-partfor the Harp I add two fragments from theworks of C.
