Elements of the South Carolina Air National Guard's 169th Fighter Wing attend briefings, update medical information, and go through processing procedures in preparation to deploy to Southwest Asia in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. The deployment includes F-16 fighter jets, pilots, maintenance specialists and other support personnel, commonly referred to as an aviation package.
