Vallgorguina is a pre-coastal municipality in the Vallès Oriental, which borders the Maresme, northeast of Barcelona. It extends through the Catalan Coastal depression on the west side of Montnegre and to the east of the Sierra de les Mules. El Corredor (638 meters) is the highest point and includes the valley of the Vallgorguina stream, with streams such as Collsacreu or Font del Sija, tributaries of the River Tordera. Part of the municipal area is included in the Montnegre-Corredor Natural Park.
