CONSIDER SMITH FAMILYIN AMERICA (1) CONSIDER SMITH Came from England with his parents, and settled in Fal-mouth, Mass, He married Parnel Mason of New Bedford,Mass., Dec. 4, 1806. She was born April i, 1790, and diedApril II, 1866. He was lost at sea off Cape Hatteras, , 1809, while on his way from Fairhaven, Mass., to Savan-nah, Ga., in the sloop Thetis. He was one of the twenty-ninewho perished, there being only five survivors. He was thenabout twenty-three years of age. After his death his parentsreturned to England.
