Arno's mouth, Marina di Pisa, Italy
The Arno' s mouth is in the north of Marina di Pisa, a sea-side resort located at only 11km from Pisa. It is exposed to coast's erosion and it has several small beaches protected from rough sea by strong breaking water dams. Marina di Pisa is characterised by the presence of many Liberty style buildings in an urban landscape marked by three squares by the sea, connected to one another by three streets running parallel to the coast and intersected by several streets at right angles. An extended pinewood stretches itself behind the residential area.
