This is known in some sections as "Green Meadow Grass'' and "June Grass," but should not be confounded with "Poa Cowpressa," called by some "June, or Wire Grass. It is the best pas- ture for our climate and soil, succeeding finely on hill lands and producing the most nourishing food for cattle, retains its qualities to a late period in winter, and, further south, affording abundant food throughout the winter.
