Hundreds of government union members protest sequestration and furlough days
Hundreds of government union members from the National Treasury Employees Union (NTEU) converge on 26 Federal Plaza in New York on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 to call for an end to sequestration and to protest furlough days for the Internal Revenue Service as well as the planned shutdown of IRS services. The IRS announced that it will be shutting public services down for five furlough days between May and August and the numerous other government agency workers are facing or have faced their own furloughs.
