'Jeffery Dunstan, Mayor of Garratt', 1821. Portrait of Jeffrey Dunstan (c1759-1797), second-hand wig seller in the West End of London. Dunstan was the "mayor" in the Garrat Elections, a carnival of mock elections held until 1796.
