Jasmine and Melissa Hemsley have taken the health and wellness industry by storm since launching their family-run wellness business for people who want to live healthier, happier lives. The Hemsleys pride themselves on creating meals that are wholesome and nutrient-filled as well as delicious, and began contributing recipes to in April 2012. Their bestselling first cookbook The Art of Eating Well was released in 2014 and their sell-out Hemsley Spiralizer - now a must-have kitchen tool - soon followed. Their second book, Good + Simple, launched in February 2016, followed by their first ever day-to-night café, Hemsley + Hemsley at Selfridges in April. In May 2016, Eating Well With Hemsley + Hemsley started on Channel 4, exploring some of their most popular recipes. The second part of the series returns later in 2016 with more delicious, quick and easy dishes. "Melissa and I realised that despite the fact that we loved to cook and eat 'healthily', we still felt far from our best" explains Jasmine, who has been modelling since she was 16. "We started to research and read everything we could get our hands on, but we couldn't find just one ethos that we could live by. After many months of self-practice we finally found a way to eat that made us feel vibrant, strong and healthy." So in 2010 the sisters started up their eponymous business, supplying organic food to celebrities and private clients around the world. Their recipes are free of grain, gluten, refined sugar and hydrogenated vegetable oils and encourage the use of high-quality, organic saturated fats, minimising even natural sugars like honey and dried fruit. It's important to note also that the Hemsleys are "anti-diet, anti-deprivation and anti-guilt".
