Waste renovation is one of the rc-. half hour. This vat is also fitted witha steam coil and the oil that drains outis clean and can be drawn off ready foruse on the road. This drainage amountsto about 200 gallons of oil a month. After the waste has drained it is throwninto a third vat from which it is takenand shaken out by hand over the firstvat and then thrown into barrels aswaste saturated with oil and is prepareddope ready for use. This waste savedruns from 60 to 75 barrels per record of one month being 3,765 dope used in passenger service and SIDE VIEW OK sources of the shops. The plant in whichthis is done is a very simple affair withonly two pieces of power driven machin-ery. The waste is shipped in from allpoints on the road and arrives in almostevery conceivable state of badness.
