His drawing was first published in the revisededition of Wilkinsons Annals of Binghamton and is shown in this workas a fair birds-eye view of the village in 1810. In 1S13 the population had increased to about 250 or 300 inhabitants,three good general stores were opened, about as many primitive indus-tries were in operation, and it was considered advisable for the public.
