Of the many methods of using radium emanation, the one which com-mends itself most forcibly is that by which the emanation is placed in re-ceptacles, which can be used in a great variety of ways according to theparticular case requiring treatment. The other methods will be referredto again in the section dealing with the treatment of particular using a large quantity of radium salt in solution and drawing off theemanation, it is possible to treat a large number of patients by means.
