Graffiti naming Sur 13 is tagged in an abandoned structure along the Anza Trail and the Santa Cruz River, a known smuggling corridor for undocumented migrants and drugs, Tubac, Arizona, USA. Sureños, Sur 13, or Sureños X3 are groups of loosely affiliated gangs that pay tribute to the Mexican Mafia while in state and federal correctional facilities. The gangs have root predominantly in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico and Texas and connections with Mexican cartels.
