Church in Lincoln.

Once described as “the finest of Lincoln’s modern churches” St. Swithin’s actually dates from the latter half of the 19th century. An attractive building in the centre of the city it has been well maintained by a small, but faithful and hard working congregation. An item of particular interest is a pagan Roman altar which was discovered during excavations for the tower, and which is kept on display. SUNDAY WORSHIP IS A SUNG EUCHARIST AT 9-30 Visitors and new worshippers will be made most welcome. St. Swithin's can be found off Broadagte, next to the Central Library. LN2 1EY.
