He states that he is pre- sototing a bill to the warehouse com- pttiy and the rest of the wholesalers will watch with interest his efforts to collect it. N. P. Miller, president of the Cook County Florists' Association, states that he has signed a contract, on behalf of his organization, for the Gregory tour to San Francisco for the week of the S. A. F. convention next year. The contract can be canceled in case the convention goes elsewhere, but calls for the payment of $10 per man September 1. Mr. Miller says he already has twenty-five booked for the trip. O. A. Tonner reports the last of the peonies taken from cold storage this week and says that the results with them in the last half of June have been the best ever obtained for the Tonner stock. George C. Weiland, secretary of the Chicago Flower Growers' Association, has «alled the fourth annual meeting of the stockholders, to be held at 176 North Michigan avenue next Monday, July 6, at 3 p. m. August Jurgens and Anton Then re- turned last week from a short trip to Calumet, Mich. Mr. Jurgens considered that the peony plantation there, in which he and E. E.
