Unmanned combat air vehicle. An X-47B unmanned combat air system demonstrator (UCAS-D) being towed to the hangar on board the aircraft carrier USS George H. W. Bush. This aircraft carrier was the first to successfully catapult launch an unmanned aircraft. The X-47B is metres long with a wingspan of nearly 19 metres, which reduces to metres when the wings are folded. Photographed in the Atlantic Ocean on 13th May 2013.
