The ‘Dahlem-Palais’. Early Twentieth century Listed residential complex designed by architect Heinz Tietze. Historic apartment building In Dahlem-Berlin. The building was built on behalf of the Prussian Construction and Finance Directorate and occupies an entire block on Spilstraße, Lentzeallee, Gegor Mendel Strasse & Milowstrasse. The apartments face the street & a central courtyard contains gardens and a children’s playground. The building facades use pastel tones of red & yellow and the arched entrances are topped with fauna & flora motifs The condominium is an an example of expressive realism using a blend of traditional stylistic features and Expressionist form.
