This Ecuadorian Black Scorpion (Tityus asthenes) is carrying a cricket to eat it. The mouthparts of the cricket are being held by one of the scorpions chelicerae (small pincer like mouthparts used to grab and tear prey). The comb like structures below the scorpion are pectines, modified limbs used as sensory organs.
