Devil's Trumpet, Indisk spikklubba (Datura fastuosa)

Cultivated worldwide, both as an ornamental and for its medicinal properties, the latter being due (like those of all Datura species) to its tropane alkaloid content. The flower is 7 inches long, white inside, violet and yellowish outside, with a purple calyx. The fruit is a inch diameter spiny capsule.
