A family uses a hand-held GPS unit to find a Geocache or Geo Cache which is a hiking activity where people search for boxes
Geochaching is a hiking activity where people search for hidden boxes using GPS units usually in wooded areas and hiking trails. Once the hidden box or cache is found, the hiker usually takes a treasure and leaves another for the next treasure seeker. The boxes usually contain a log book which is signed and resealed into the container. The activity allows people to find unique outdoor areas and explore them with a fun goal as a reward.
