Birmingham, West Midlands, UK. 16th November 2017. Despite the ongoing security threat and strategically positioned barriers, thousands of people flock to the opening night of Birmingham's Christmas German market. With great food, warming drinks, traditional gifts and live music, the Frankfurt Christmas Market attracts visitors from across the city and the UK. The market is in its 18th year and is the centrepiece of the city's Christmas events. This year the market will run up to 24 December.
