Friedrich II - General Wichard Heinrich von Möllendorff(1724 - 1816).,An openwork plate,Meissen,circa 1762. Openwork border,gold edge,Indian flowery twigs in colcothar and gold. Flowery twigs in the centre. A press number "22" on the back with an underglaze sword mark. In 1761,as a gift to his General von Möllendorff,Frederick the Great ordered a comprehensive table service from the Meissen porcelain factory. Today the service is widely scattered. Cf.
