Stackpole of Sanford, Me., served in the Engi-neers Officers Training Corps, Camp Humphreys, Va. Charles Vassar Stackpole of Lynn, Mass., served ninemonths in the Coast Artillery at Fort Washington as Ser-geant. Roscoe F. Stackpole of Sanford, Me., served twelve. CAPT. PHILIP WEST STACKPOLE. MILITARY RECORD 331 months in France in the 54th Artillery, C. G. C, repairingautomobiles. Charles Everett Stackpole, born at Covington, Ky.,served eight years in U. S. Navy. On board the San Fran-cisco he saw service at Vera Cruz and received honorablemention. His second enlistment was as Instructor at Du-luth, Minn. Later he was on U. S. S. Charleston, whichconvoyed 40,000 men without any loss. He was dis-charged as Chief Water Tender, 31 Jan. 1920. Lieut.
