Changing the Guard on the Monument to King Vittorio Emanuele 2 in The Piazza Venezia in Rome


This building is called El Vittoriano and is affectionately known as the Wedding Cake. Once derided as too flamboyant, it is now a much loved building by the tourists who come to the city of Rome. It incorporates a museum, a chapel, the tomb of the unknown soldier and the eternal flame of remembrance
