Hooge Crater Military Cemetery
The image is of Hooge Crater Military Cemetery near the city of Ypres from the First World War. The cemetery has around 6000 soldiers from various parts of the British Commonwealth of which 3600 men are unknown. The site around the cemetery was fought over continually during the war, the crater was created when the British mined the German positions.
