The statues of Paolo Mascagni (1755-1815) was an Italian physician and anatomist, and Andrea Cesalpino (1524 –1603) who was a Florentine physician, philosopher and botanist, on the long wall of the Loggiato, a semi-enclosed courtyard that is part of the Galleria degli Uffizi ( Uffizi Gallery) above a row of artists, painting and selling their works to visiting tourists in Florence in the Tuscany region of northern Italy.
