Defences within the Forte de Olheiras, also known as Canudo Fort, one of the series of forts on the Lines of Torres Vedras.

The Lines of Torres Vedras were built to defend Lisbon in Portugal. The forts of the Lines of Torres Vedras were built during the Peninsular Wars, part of the Napoleonic Wars of the early 19th century, as part of Arthur Wellesley's (later the Duke of Wellington) strategy to defeat the French Army.
